The next meeting of the Agawam Garden Club will be held June 14th, 6:30PM, at the Captain Charles Leonard House, 663 Main Street, Agawam. After a short business meeting Kathleen Connolly, Master Gardener , Landscape Designer, & Newspaper Columnist, will present a program titled “Create Foundation Gardens That Say Welcome Home to Native Plants”. Foundation and entryway gardens can make or break the “welcome factor” of a home or community building. In this one hour talk, Connolly will consider the problems and opportunities posed by this space. She will also look at the natural elements of our New England landscape and how they can be incorporated into foundation gardens. Extensive design resources and plants lists will be made available. All meetings of the club are open to everyone and not limited to Agawam residents.
